My research focuses on the economic modeling of individual behavior, as applied to decisions regarding residential location and mobility. Rooted in urban and behavioral economics, it examines how individuals balance their location choices against environmental constraints (exposure to air pollution, access to physical activity, climate risks) and what the implications are for spatial inequalities and well-being.
My work is inherently interdisciplinary, engaging with epidemiology, climate science, mathematics, geography, and psychology, an approach that is essential for analyzing behaviors whose determinants are multidimensional by nature.
