CESAER is pleased to welcome Aurélie Javelle (UMR Innovation, Montpellier). An environmental anthropologist, she works on agro-environmental issues, particularly in the context of agroecological transition.

In the face of the environmental crisis, humanity is seeking ways out of the impasse it has itself created. Agriculture is directly concerned by these challenges. This book is based on the idea that the transition toward more environmentally friendly agricultural practices cannot be sustainable without taking into account cultural factors and the individual and collective value systems that shape people’s relationships with the living world.Aimed at anyone interested in questioning their relationship with the environment, this work seeks to contribute to an effective agroecological transition.
